We have been learning about different ahusrea (cultures) around the world.
I worked in a ropu to research Maori culture. We discussed traditional kai, kakahu, kemu, whakahari, maoritanga, waiata, taonga puoro and Atua.
Maori are the indigenous people of Aotearoa.
Here are some of the traditional things;

Kakhu/clothing=
I found this mahi easy because I am Maori
And I love my culture.
On ratu / Tuesday 14 of mahuru at 21 pm, Our akomanga took part in the national reo maori moment .
We went and joined Tangaroa an our papa whakaari and called out... kia kaha te reo maori, korero maori.
